Returning home to Richmond from my Corps Day Weekend festivities at The Citadel, my car broke down on a Sunday evening in Mullins SC. Having a slight panic, I still managed to come across the number for the Imperial Motel. The owner, Bob, picked me up and over the next few days ferried me to the auto repair where my car was garaged. Beyond the fact Bob and his wife are very nice, and unlike 99% of motels, the Imperial's rooms are clean and with fridge and microwaves, the internet is fast and the beds are more comfortable than most beds I've slept on during my "scheduled" hotel stays. The on-site restaurant served the best prime rib and is filled with local families. If you're visiting Mullins SC, stay at the Imperial Motel.
Don't miss out on the great meals served at Margaret's Restaurant on location, where they serve everything from steak and seafood dinners to hamburger and fries, and the best Shrimp Alfredo that I have ever had.

My husband and I wanted a little vacation and found a Gem. The Imperial Motel..Wow the Employees and Management we're extremely friendly and professional. Our room was extremely clean.
You can't ask for a better meal "Margaret's" right next door. The most delicious Steak ,food and Service. We will come back everytime. Only 45 mins to the Beach completely worth the drive!!!
This Motel is a family owned and operated and customer service very good, an excellent choice for a business stay. Able to send faxes, and was called immediately when my UPS deliveries arrived. Good professional, personal service.
I stayed at the Imperial Motel for 5 weeks while working on Hurricane Matthew and enjoyed the benefit staying in an area. with a Dollar General next door, and a laundromat and a Tiger Mart with fresh made breakfast sandwiches every morning within a half a block.

Glad they were open due to short notice but the beds don't feel great, the pillows are super small, and it has a order, plus they have roaches... I'm disgusted with this place never again will I stay here
